Second-Chance Housing

Housing for people with records and individuals on probation

A record should not keep you from a safe, stable home. We work directly with supervising officers on address approval, curfews and rent.

Second-Chance Housing

Housing for felons and individuals on probation

A stable home is one of the most important steps in rebuilding your life. eBurst Property Management rents to individuals with felony records and those currently on probation who are looking for housing.

We work and communicate directly with your probation officer to help you stay on track and succeed.

  • Curfew — we help confirm you are meeting your curfew requirements.
  • Rent — we report that your rent is being paid, and paid on time.
  • Probation requirements — we coordinate with your officer to help ensure you are meeting the terms of your supervision.
  • Approved residence — we work with your officer so your new home can be approved as your residence.

What to expect

  • Every applicant is reviewed individually by eBurst — a record alone is not an automatic denial.
  • You'll sign a written authorization allowing eBurst and your probation officer to communicate about your housing.
  • Please have your probation officer's name and contact information ready when you apply.
  • Some homes may not be available due to location, HOA rules, or the conditions of your supervision.
  • Applicants with credit or income challenges or past evictions (including 3+ in the last 7 years) may also qualify for our We Rent It For You program.
Working With Your Officer

How we coordinate with supervision

With your written permission, we talk with your probation or community-control officer so the home works for your supervision.

  • We confirm the address can be approved before you sign anything
  • We note your curfew and any housing conditions on your file
  • We can share your rent status with your officer when your conditions require it
  • Some Florida addresses are restricted by law for certain registrants — we only place you where you may legally live
  • Tell us everything up front in the questionnaire; it is private and helps us place you faster
