Low credit, limited or non-traditional income, no rental history, past evictions, or past denials can keep good people out of good homes. eBurst can lease the property in our company's name and sublet it to you.
Low credit
A low score or thin credit file doesn't have to stop you from renting.
Income challenges
Lower, self-employed, or non-traditional income that doesn't meet a landlord's standard.
Limited history
First-time renters or applicants with little or no rental history.
Previously denied
Individuals who have applied elsewhere and can't get accepted on their own.
Past evictions
We rent to individuals with evictions on their record — including 3 or more evictions within the last 7 years.
Criminal records
Felony records or currently on probation? See our Second-Chance Housing program.
How it works
Get approved by eBurst
Apply with us first. We review your situation and must approve you before we start the process.
We find the home
We locate a home that fits your approved budget and needs.
We sign the lease
eBurst Property Management leases the home from the owner in our company's name.
You sublet from us
You sign a sublease with eBurst, move in, and pay your rent directly to us.
Approval comes first
All applicants must be reviewed and approved by eBurst Property Management before we begin searching for or leasing a home on their behalf. Approval is based on our own rental criteria, including your ability to pay the rent going forward.
Housing for felons and individuals on probation
A stable home is one of the most important steps in rebuilding your life. eBurst Property Management rents to individuals with felony records and those currently on probation who are looking for housing.
We work and communicate directly with your probation officer to help you stay on track and succeed.
- Curfew — we help confirm you are meeting your curfew requirements.
- Rent — we report that your rent is being paid, and paid on time.
- Probation requirements — we coordinate with your officer to help ensure you are meeting the terms of your supervision.
- Approved residence — we work with your officer so your new home can be approved as your residence.
What to expect
- Every applicant is reviewed individually by eBurst — a record alone is not an automatic denial.
- You'll sign a written authorization allowing eBurst and your probation officer to communicate about your housing.
- Please have your probation officer's name and contact information ready when you apply.
- Some homes may not be available due to location, HOA rules, or the conditions of your supervision.
- Applicants with credit or income challenges or past evictions (including 3+ in the last 7 years) may also qualify for our We Rent It For You program.
